Our early years classes are full of fun and imagination.
At this very young age classes are all about meeting young children’s social, emotional and physical needs and we encourage pupils to:

From 18 months upwards
A fun multi-sensory class incorporating dancing, singing and sensory play. We encourage parents /carers to join in the fun with their little one.

PRE-SCHOOL BALLET
From 3 years to school age
A fun and imaginative class based on a different adventure /theme each week. Ballet and other dance skills are woven into the stories so pupils can learn through imagination. We often use props to bring the story to life.
Day and time: Mondays 1.30 - 2.00pm, Mondays 2.15 - 2.45pm,
Wednesdays 2.15pm - 2.45pm

PRE-PRIMARY BALLET
From reception age
Pupils begin to learn the first level of the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus. This includes traditional ballet movements alongside imaginative sequences, with a wide variety of props such as feathers and pom poms.
Day and time: Thursdays 3.45pm - 4.15pm (reception aged pupils). Wednesdays 3.45 - 4.15pm (year 1 aged pupils).

PRIMARY TAP
From year 1 age
In this first ISTD tap grade pupils learn the basics of tap and rhythm.

PRIMARY MODERN
From year 1 age
Primary modern is the first ISTD modern grade that pupils learn. There are lots of fun and energetic dance combinations.

MUSICAL THEATRE 1
From reception age
Pupils dance and sing to exciting musicals such as Frozen, Mary Poppins and The Lion King. These classes are really expressive and encourage pupils’ performance skills.
